WHAT IS CITYLAB?
CityLab is a science education program led by UCLA undergraduate and graduate students. Our mission is to introduce high school students in the Los Angeles area to the exciting and rapidly advancing field of biotechnology through hands-on laboratory experiences.
We provide a forum for UCLA students to serve as mentors to high school students in the Los Angeles area, teaching science through interactive presentations and hands-on experiments in UCLA laboratories.
CityLab at UCLA is sponsored by the UCLA URC/CARE (Undergraduate Research Center / Center for Academic and Research Excellence) and USAC (Undergraduate Students Association Council).
